Historic region of Ertso-Tianeti in Georgia
Ertso-Tianeti (Georgian: ერწო-თიანეთი) is a historic region in eastern Georgia. It is located along the Iori in what is now the district of Tianeti in the region (mchare) Mtscheta-Mtianeti. The name consists of the two entities Ertso (ერწო) and Tianeti (თიანეთი).
Ertso-Tianeti is located on the southern coast of the Great Caucasus. Its historical borders are in the north Psjavi, the south and east Kacheti and the Aragvi in the west.
