Military School (Kara Harp Okulu), until 1890, went to the Military Academy (Kara Harp Akademisi) where he obtained his diploma in 1893. Hasan Izzet was also opposed to Enver Pasha's decision to attack the Russians without proper preparation, for this reason he was forced to leave Enver the command of the Third Army on December 18, 1914.
