Inventions for Electric Guitar

Inventions for Electric Guitar is an album from 1975 by German artist Manuel Göttsching. Although the album was released under the name Ash Ra Temple, Inventions For Electric Guitar was Manuel Göttsching's first solo album. Compared with the previous album, Starring Rosi, the album broke another way of style, with content creating three experimental minimalist songs with guitar, echo tape loops and a four-track recorder. Göttsching's work has been influenced from now by Terry Riley, Philip Glass and Steve Reich. Tracks
