South Texas (English: South Texas) is a region of the US state of Texas, roughly south or beginning at San Antonio.
The region contains, among other things, the places of Alice, Beeville, Brownsville, Corpus Christi, Eagle Pass, Edna, Kingsville, Laredo, McAllen and Victoria.
South Texas should not be confused with the Rio Grandvallei. All four counties that form the Rio Grand Valley are South Texas, but not all of South Texas is part of the Rio Grand Valley.
