Ligging Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Gerbstedt
In the former Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Gerbstedt, located in the Stendal district of Germany, twelve municipalities worked together to complete their municipal tasks. The Verwaltungsgemeinschaft had an area of 102.26 km², of which 8628 inhabitants lived (state: 31 December 2006). Participating municipalities
The municipalities in question were part of the Verwaltungsgemeinschaft at the date of removal.
Until 15 June 2009, the municipalities Burgsdorf and Klostermansfeld belonged to the Verwaltungsgemeinschaft. These have respectively been transferred to Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Lutherstadt Eisleben and Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Mansfelder Grund-Helbra.
With the removal of the Verwaltungsgemeinschaft on January 1, 2010, with the exception of Heiligenthal, Freist and Friedeburg (Saale), all municipalities transferred to the newly formed united community Gerbstedt.
