The Capture of Christ is an Antoon van Dyck oil painting on canvas in the Madrid Prado Museum.
Of the capture episode of Christ van Dyck painted three versions, with few differences between them; the other two are kept in Bristol and Minneapolis. The moment immortalized by the painter is that, narrated in the Gospel of John, in which Judas is about to kiss Jesus, just as an accomplice is about to put a loop on his neck.
