Floor Truck Factory

Floor Truck Factory (FTF) was a Dutch truck manufacturer of very heavy and special trucks. Actually, it was more an assembly company because ready-to-use components were purchased from various other companies, such as Rockwell wheel axles and Allison Transmission gearboxes. For the engines in the trucks, FTF commonly used 2-stroke diesel engines from the Detroit Diesel brand from the USA. The booths were originally made and purchased later in Britain.

FTF was based in Wijchen and Hilversum, and delivered heavy transport tractors to the Royal Army and terminal tractors at ECT in Rotterdam.

Today, under the name of Floor, the company only produces tractor equipment (trailers and semi-trailers). Externe link
