G (music)


The G (also called sol, or so-called) is a music note that is a whole tone higher than the F and a whole tone lower than the A.

On a piano keyboard, the G is always in the three black keys between the first and second black keys. With a singular guitar, the fourth string is voted in G. The first string of a violin is also voted in G.
