Paco Peña in Londen
Paco Peña (Córdoba, June 1, 1942) is a flamenco guitarist.
LifecyclePaco Peña started as a kid with guitar games. In his twelfth year he already played in a folk music group. He moved to London in the late 1960s and traveled as a soloist and accompanist throughout the world with performances at Carnegie Hall in New York, Royal Albert Hall in London and the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.
In 1981, he founded the Centro Flamenco Paco Peña in his birthplace Córdoba. Later he was appointed Artistic Director of the Córdoba International Guitar Festival. Peña is currently a lecturer and artistic director of the Flamenco study at the Rotterdam Music Conservatory (World Music and Dance Center). He was the first flamenco guitarist ever to offer a chair at a conservatory. Prices
