The Five On Adventure


The Five on Adventure is the ninth part of the Five Book series. The book was written by Enid Blyton in 1950 under the title Five Fall into Adventure.

The book was edited by The Netherlands for D.L. Uyt den Boogaard and published by H.J.W. Becht, with illustrations by Jean Sidobre. The cover of the first three presses was made by Hans G. Kresse. From 2002, the book is published in a new translation of J.H. Gever and illustrated by Julius Ros. The Five come together for a holiday in Huizen Kirrin. Uncle Quentin and Aunt Fanny leave for Spain. The children meet the gypsy girl Jo, who at first does not like them. When broken into the uncle Quentin's study room, De Five stands for a riddle. Shortly thereafter, George is abducted by the criminal Red Tower. Jo helps the others to get George back.
