Elisabeth Verlooy


Elisabeth Verlooy (Leuven, June 16, 1933 - November 22, 2012) was a Belgian soprano. biography

As a daughter of a vocal teacher, she received her first vocal education from her mother. Verlooy studied at the Royal Conservatory (Brussels) with Professor Eduardo del Pueyo. After that she studied for years at the Conservatory Giuseppe Verdi in Milan, where she obtained a Master.

She started her career at the Opera in Gent at the age of 15. Palmares
