Mathijs H. ten Wolde (Coevorden, 1963) is a Dutch professor of private law, especially commerce and private private law at the University of Groningen.
He graduated from the thesis entitled International and Interregional Heritage Law in the Kingdom of the Netherlands. He was first a member of Dutch Antilles and Aruban International Private Law at the University of the Netherlands Antilles.
At the University of Groningen, he is a head of international private law. In 1999 he was appointed professor.
