Moscow Country Club


The Moscou Country Club is a golf club in the Krasnagorsky district outside of Moscow. Golf course

Here is the oldest and still only 18-hole golf course in Russia. He was founded since 1988 by Robert Trent Jones Jr. in a wooded land where he had to cut out to make a job that would meet all the requirements to make major international tournaments. Six years later the 18 hole course was opened.

In 1993, the first Russian Open was played here, although only nine holes could be played. The tournament was played here until 2008 every year. Extension

Since 2000 it is called the Le Méridien Moscou Country Club. There is now a 131-room hotel with 68 wooden houses around the track. Most are built in the dacha style of the 18th century.
