Oud-Boshoven or simply Boshoven is a neighborhood in the Dutch municipality of Weert. It is located in the 'armpit' of the Eindhoven - Weert railway and on the road between Weert and Budel in the municipality of Cranendonck. The neighborhood has retained its original rural appearance. Between the neighborhood and the railway line lies a beautiful rural area with unpaved roads and small plots with occasional habits.
Initially Boshoven was the only core and denominator of the vast outlying area of Boshoven. After the 1960s, east of the neighborhood, the neighborhoods Oda I, Oda II, Vracker and Vrakker West were built. Although not officially one district, these four districts are referred to as the residential area of Boshoven, named after the original neighborhood.
With the construction of the district of Vraker West in the 1990s of the last and nineties of this century, the Boshoven neighborhood has grown into the Boshoven district and as a whole became part of the city of Weert.
