Room2012 Tialda van Slogteren (2008)
Room2012 is a German music group formed by Popstars winners in the fall of 2007.
The group consists of the winners Cristobal Galvez Moreno, Julian Kasprzik, Sascha Schmitz and the Dutch Tialda van Slogteren. In 2007, the debut album Elevation immediately broke out and the first single Haunted became a hit in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The following two singles were less successful. The band became the first German Popstars winner whose album and first single did not score number one in the hit list. In 2009, the group's activities were paused after the group had no record label. The band members focused on a solo career.
Tialda van Slogteren (May 22, 1985) worked as a shoe dealer and model. In 2003 and 2004, Van Slogteren participated in the Dutch version of Idols. Both times she came to the last 30 but did not get the final.
In 2007 she joined the sixth edition of the German talent hunter Popstars. For this purpose, a preliminary round was also held in the Netherlands. Van Slogteren became one of the four winners and joined Moreno, Kasprzik and Schmitz in the program2020 Room2012.
At the end of 2008, the group broke down indefinitely.
