Santa Rosae is an ancient island off the coast of California, at the Northern Channel Islands, which constitutes its current remains.

Before the end of the last Ice Age, the Northern Channel Islands were in fact merged into a single island, which took up the present shape after rising sea levels of 120 m following glacier melting. There is also evidence of the presence of a further submerged island, named Calafia, between Santa Rosae and the continent.

The island of Santa Rosae is known for hosting a rich Pleistocene fauna, featuring the Mammoth Pigeon (Mammuthus exilis) and Arlington Springs man.
