The Society for Sedimentary Geology is an international professional organization based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Commonly referred to as the SEPM acronym as it was created by the Society of Economic Paleontologists and Mineralogists.
The association has as its primary mission the development of the sciences linked to Sedimentology, Stratigraphy, Paleontology, Environmental Science, Hygiene and related specialties. Members benefit from the opportunity to discuss and exchange information relevant to their Geological specializations. Information is distributed through the most important Scientific Magazines, such as Journal of Sedimentary Research (JSR), and PALAIOS, and through Technology Conference, and Short Seminars.
