Tenugui

Typical tenugui used in kendō.

A handcuff (手 拭 い) is a lightweight cotton towel from Japan, typically 35 to 90 cm long, of flat fabric, and almost always with some printed motif.

Cover all the features of any towel: cleaning, decoration or souvenir.

Nowadays the tenugues are almost completely replaced by towel towels. They are still popular, though only as headdresses, decorations or souvenirs in kendō.

A painter often appears in the anime and manga as a scene material in public baths (I felt). Voices correlateemodify wikitesto Other designers wikitesto
