The Enschedé Font Foundry

The Enschedé Font Foundry is a letter publisher, founded in 1991 by Peter Matthias Noordzij. The company plans to publish some famous (digital) fonts, such as Lexicon, Trinité, Renard, Ruse and Collis, by famous designers such as Bram de Does, Fred Smeijers and Gerrit Noordzij. The company name is also abbreviated as TEFF.

TEFF has flowed from the well-known Joh. Enschedé and Zonen securities printing company, founded in 1703. In 1743, the printing company started manufacturing fonts and began taking over other types of lettering. The stamp cutter Johann Michael Fleischmann made some famous fonts here. In the twentieth century, great design fame designers, including Sjoerd H. de Roos and Jan van Krimpen.

For the 275th anniversary, Joh. Enschedé in 1978 letter designer Bram de Does designed a font. This became the Trinite, which is now published by TEFF digitally in PostScript format.

In 1992 Bram designed the Does the font Lexicon, used in the Van Dale Lexicography dictionary.

Font Renard of Fred Smeijers, Ruse of Gerrit Noordzij (father of Peter Matthias Noordzij) and Collis of Christoph Noordzij (brother of Peter Matthias Noordzij) are now the top fonts of TEFF.

TEFF also accepts commands for custom custom fonts. Externe link
