James Lloyd is an originally Jamaican singer and entertainer.
In his youth, James Lloyd moved to London, where he studied at the Ivor Mirants College of Music. He went to tour early in Germany, mainly in Germany, where he was offered a contract with Ariola Records. Frag Mein Herz was his first singles success there. His second single Keep on smiling was in his original language and featured in various hitparades throughout the world. The accompaniment band was soul band Respect from Amsterdam.
