LDE is a historic brand of road racing motorcycles.

Frank Desbourough was a Wolverhampton technician who built a 125 cc road racer in 1951 for the TT of Man. He planned the construction of a special machine, with a water-cooled two-cylinder two-stroke boxer engine. However, this was not done on time, which forced him to use a simple engine with BSA Bantam and Villiers components. It was probably one of the first motorcycles equipped with disc brakes. However, the machine did not perform well, making no new attempts.
