Lowie Vermeersch, grandson of Flemish sculptor José Vermeersch and son of visual artist Rik Vermeersch, studied Industrial Design (IO) at Delft University of Technology. After completing his studies, he studied at the Pininfarina studios in Turin. He was part of the design team with productions: in 2004 the Nido City Car, the Birdcage 75, the Pininfarina Sintesi and the Ferrari California. From 2007 he joined Pininfarina with a team of 100 designers and computer engineers, engineers and engineers.
