Sylvia Van Driessche (1976) is a Belgian editor and writer. In the general public, she is mostly known as juror in Idool 2011. She is married to Jelle De Beule, who she has three children.
Van Driessche is Vic Dennis's daughter, Ernest Van Driessche's pseudonym, who worked as an assistant at various magazines. In early 2009 she became editor-in-chief of the youth magazine Joepie, where she followed Tinne Marant. At Joepie, her father had been active in the second half of the 70's and he had been editor-in-chief for years, albeit from the magazine Dag Allemaal.
In April 2014, Van Driessche stopped as chief editor of Joepie. She was succeeded by Niels Janssens.
Van Driessche published the Youth Book Between the Stars in 2013. The sequel to this appeared in 2014, entitled Sterrenregen. As a third book in the series, she wrote Constellation: Unicorn (2015). The fourth part of the stars was published in April 2016.
