Community Mill

The Community Mill at the Gaasp near Driemond (Amsterdam Zuidoost) is a polder mill from 1708.

He was built for the purpose of the Community Springer painting. The mill, initially equipped with a shipwreck, was commissioned in 1892. In 1926 a mill was placed that took over the paint, cutting the upper part of the mill. The meal was out of date in 1993. On the replacement, it was decided to repair the mill, and on April 25, 2003, the rebuilt mill was officially commissioned by the mayor of Amsterdam. The Community Mill, owned by the Hoogheemraadschap Amstel, Gooi en Vecht, is inhabited and can not be viewed. 52° 18′ 39″ NB, 5° 0′ 13″ OL
