Rosa was a comedy television show on the Flemish channel TV1. The program was broadcast in 1995 and 1996. It was about the type Rosa Vermeulen, played by Walter Baele. Rosa was an elderly woman from Erpe-Mere and received a famous Flemish program every week. Kurt Defrancq played Modest Vermeulen, Rosa's son.
In 1995, "The Rosalied (" It's Good) "by Rosa and Modest was released on CD-single. In 1995 and 1996 there was also an old-year special about Rosa to watch on TV.
In 2003 and 2004, Rosa Vermeulen presented VRT in the fifty-year program Rosa Rode rozen, introducing repetitions from old Flemish television series. Modest had a section in the VRT Tour Journal for some years.
