Wycam's breast ball is the name of a candy based on sugar and glucose. The word Wycam's is a brand name.
These candies have been made for 60 years according to the same procedure. Different sugars are cooked to a thick syrup. This is formed into a thick wire and is then knocked to square candies with top cushions.
The Wycam's breastballs are packaged in canned 325 grams since the start of production. These tin cans with red and white colors look the same for 60 years. Only the white cover was replaced by a red cover around 2006.
The breastballs are manufactured at Kalmthout by the Wyckmans family.
