Bagmati (Nepalese: बागमती) is a river in Nepal.

The river originates on the north side of the Kathmandu Valley and flows along Kathmandu. The Bagmati is a highly polluted river which is undergoing a cleaning. For the local Hindu population, it is also a holy river. He lays out in the Ganges.
