Pino Donati


Pino Donati (Verona, May 9, 1907 - Rome, February 24, 1975) was an Italian composer.

From a young man he performed music studies under G. C. Paribeni's guidance.

Since 1936 he has been appointed Superintendent of the Autonomous Arena Arena and since 1950 he has been assigned the same position at the Teatro Comunale di Bologna. In 1938, he performed his first opera Lancillotto del Lago with Angelo Mercuriali at the Teatro Donizetti in Bergamo and in 1951 at Catini's Bellini Garden he directed La traviata with Gianni Raimondi and Afro Poli and Stabat Mater (Rossini) with Antonietta Stella. He has collaborated with newspapers, magazines and newspapers related to music disciplines.
