Thanon Yaowarat is a Chinese street in the Samphanthawong district of the Thai capital Bangkok. There are many facilities for Chinese Thai in the street. The phone and lanterns are built in Chinese style and many billboards are bilingual (Thai and Chinese). On the east side of the street there is a paiphon.

The street plus the adjacent Thanon Charoen Krung and the surrounding area are seen as the Bangkok's Chinese neighborhood. The literal translation of the street name is "Away from the young Prince".

Chinese Thai have populated the area for over two hundred years. In the neighborhood, they usually work as traders in all kinds of consumables. Chinese restaurants can also be found in the Chinese area. It is one of Bangkok's oldest residential areas and originated around the 18th century. Today it has one of Bangkok's highest land prices.
