UNDOF Medal

The UNDOF Medal is one of the United Nations Peace Missions.

UNDOF is the abbreviation of United Nations Dissengagement Observer Force, a peace operation at the Golan Heights. The soldiers control the ceasefire between Israel and Syria. Dutch participants were eligible for the UN peacekeeping medal memorandum. The Secretary-General of the United Nations granted the participating soldiers and police officers the UNDOF Medal. They received the bronze medal on a ribbon that combines wide dark red edges with the light blue of the United Nations flag and narrow black, white and red stripes.
