Winfried Roch


Winfried Roch (Türkheim, September 5, 1964) is a German composer, conductor and trumpeter.

Lifecycle

Roch studied music in Munich. Then he was trumpeter at the then Heerenmusikkorps 8 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. After that he went to Bad Wörishofen and founded a copper sept. Ensemble Classique (six copper blowers and 1 percussionist) in 1986. Since her performance at the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival in 1989, this ensemble consists of Rolf Ihler (trumpet), Winfried Roch (trumpet), Werner Roch (trumpet), Peter Seitz (trombone), Gerhard Wolf (trombone), Markus Blecher bastrombone) and Ulrich Heiler (percussion) throughout the world. The artistic director of this ensemble is Winfried Roch.

Roch is also head of CCM Classic Concerts Management in Bad Wörishofen.
