XBEL (from eXtensible Bookmarks Exchange Language) is an XML-based markup language for storing and exchanging web-based bookmark lists for folders.

Its basic structure, very simple, is this: (submitted tags are not the only ones implemented) & Lt; xcal & gt; & lt; title & gt; Sheet Title & lt; / title & gt; <folder> & lt; title & gt; Folder Title & lt; / title & gt; Like any XML derived language, XBEL can also be modified by XSLT to be transformed into XHTML.
