International Film Festival Breda


International Film Festival Breda was a film festival in Breda Center of Breda. There were three editions of the festival from 2009 to 2011.

The film festival was held in 2011 at the then Pathé Theater in the Turfschip on the Chasséveld. Past editions also took place in Poppodium Mezz and Chassé Cinema of the Chassé Theater.

2009

In 2009, it took place from 25 to 29 March 2009. The Reader was is 2009 one of the films. The festival focuses on film and image culture, which makes the festival a unique place in the Dutch festival offering. The first edition is organized by Leo Hannewijk, known for example Film by the Sea, Movies that Matter and Lantaren / Venster in Rotterdam.

Cooperation is being sought including, among others, art education (Academy of Arts and Design St. Joost, NHTV gaming), Breda Photo and the Graphic Design Festival Breda. 2010

In 2010, the Film Festival Breda continued from 24 to 28 March. The opening movie was Nowhere Boy. The surprise slogan is The Ghost Writer of Roman Polanski. 2011
