Velt vzw is a consumer association active in Flanders, Brussels and the Netherlands. Its function is based on three pillars: organic gardening, organic food and ecological life. The acronym Felt stands for Association for Ecological Life and Gardening. Velt vzw originated in 1972. Operation
Velt is a member association. This means that most of the operation is carried by volunteers in the local nuclei. Velt has more than 100 local departments and 16,000 members.
