The eastern summit of the Hohe Munde with behind it the Karwendel Mountains
The Hohe Munde is a 2662 meter high mountain in the far east of the Mieminger Mountains in the Austrian state of Tyrol. The mountain consists of a 2662 meter high western peak and a 2594 meter high eastern peak. The summits are accessible from Moos in the municipality of Leutasch via an easy route, via the Rauthhütte (1605 meters). For the more experienced alpinists there is the possibility of descending through the west cam to the Lower Munde (2059 meters). The eastern edge of the mountain is loved by skies at a 45 degree angle.
