Lode Roels (Geel, 1975) is a Flemish journalist and radio presenter who presents (news) programs on Radio 1. In the period between 2000 and 2007 he was one of the voices of the morning program voor de dag. From 2007 to February 2011 he presented the new program today in the evening pit. First alternately with Nicky Aerts, then with Annelies Beck. In February 2011, Lode Roels presented Radio 1 at the latest today. He then left for five years with his family to Canada. Beginning in 2016 he returned to Belgium and presented Lode Roels to Radio 1 again.
