Mark Alexej Persson, also known as "Notch"
Mark Alexej Persson (Stockholm, June 1, 1979) is a Swedish billionaire, commonly known as his nickname Notch. He is the creator of the popular sandbox game Minecraft. Persson founded the company Mojang AB in September 2010 with the money he earned with Minecraft. Lifecycle
Markus Persson started his eighth with programming on his father's Commodore 128. After a while experimenting with various type-in programs, he made his first (text-based) adventure game at his ninth. He worked 4.5 years at King.com until he stopped in 2009 and became a programmer at Jalbum. He has also contributed to Wurm Online, but is no longer involved today. In addition to this work, he has participated in competitions such as the "Java 4K Game Programming Contest" and "Ludum Dare".
Persson works mainly with C ++ and Java. With his creation Minecraft, he earned more than 250,000 euros a day until he sold Microsoft Mojang in September 2014 for 2.5 billion. "It feels unreal. I had the idea of making games, but not getting rich," he informed. He also makes electronic music under the name "Markus Alexei".
