Nick Stuifbergen


Nick Stuifbergen (6 September 1980) is a Dutch baseball player.

Stuifbergen is pitcher and strikes and throws right-handed. He debuted in Dutch in 1998 at Kinheim from Haarlem. With this association he won twice the Europe Cup II. In 2002 he played two years for the Amsterdam Pirates, after which he joined HCAW from Bussum in 2005 and 2006, and since 2007 he plays again for the Pirates. In 2004 he was named Best Werper at the Charles Urbanus tournament in Bussum.

In 2005, Stuifbergen was selected for the Dutch baseball team. His international debut was on July 9, 2005 during the match against Italy during the European championships in the Czech Republic. He also participated in the World Championships in 2005 at the World Baseball Classic, the European Baseball Series, the Haarlem Baseball Week and the Intercontinental Cup in Taiwan. In 2007 he participated in the World Championship and European Championships where Orange won the title.
