Pierken de Stadskw was a person who was employed by the city of Utrecht as city city for 1523 for several years. He was shrouded in red-white city clothing, which featured an image of Saint-Martin.
In a lantern console at the Light Garden Pierken is pictured in the city hall. The text in the console is: sweet as honey is flattery, the truth is often a tiger, sometimes terrible except for me, piercing the city hall. MDXXIII Sources
