TV Azteca is a Mexican television group, the most important after Televisa.
Founded in 1983 as state property under the name Instituto Mexicano de la Televisión ("Imevisión"), it was privatized with its current name in 1993. Its flagship is the Hechos newsstand, but in the latter years his telenovelas production, as well as dramatically increasing the number of listeners at home, has also made him known internationally.
It has two channels, Azteca 7 and Azteca 13, and manages the programming of a third network, Proyecto 40.
In Italy, thanks to a deal with the Lady Channel satellite channel, since 2009, they have been broadcast exclusively in telenovelas of their recent original library with subtitles. Links externalize the wikitesto
