Miss United States

Miss United States is an annual American miss-election held since 2001. The election is open to young people from 19 to 28 years old. There is also a sister election, Miss United States Teen, for girls aged 15 to 19.

History

The original Miss United States election was a beach election held from 1926 to 1932 on Galveston Island. The Great Depression meant the end of that match. In 2001, the title was re-established, either with a different concept and at a different location. Winnersessen Lacie Lybrand, Miss United States 2002. Also see Externe link
