Vincenzo Palizzolo Gravina


Vincenzo Palizzolo Gravina (Trapani, June 29, 1831 - Palermo, May 9, 1914) was an Italian historian.

Born in Trapani in 1831, Giuseppe, Baron of Ramione, and Marianna Gravina of the Princes of Comitini, died in Palermo on May 9, 1914. Among his works the most successful was The Blasone in Sicily, Heraldry Collection , printed from 1871 to 1875. It is a heraldic-genealogical work dealing with Sicilian families, in which there are other to Filadelfo Mugnos and Francesco Maria Emanuele Gaetani marquis of Villabianca.
