The Economizer is a heat exchanger designed to reduce energy consumption by means of a useful fluid preheating. The economizer can be present in power generation plants, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
The installation of an economizer is typically-in industrial environments- on large steam generators, where steam reaches high atmospheric pressure, on gas-fired boilers, gas oil or LPG, with high fuel consumption.
