Gerard Van De Steene (Baaigem, March 20, 1922 - Deinze, January 5, 2010) was a Belgian cyclist and honorary president of the cycling club K.V.C. Deinze.
From 1946-1959 he was a professional athlete, further worked as a café boss at Cafe Baskuul and as a shopkeeper in side doors and sunblinds. Initially, he drove for the bicycle brands Gantoise and Green Leeuw, where he played the servant, yet he won some prizes, such as the fairgrounds of Petegem in 1949 and 1953. As a twenty-year-old he became a member of the Deinze Veloclub and from 1987-2006 he was president of this association.
