He graduated from the University of Naples at first pharmacy and then in law. He was first a pharmacist and then successfully dedicated to the forensic profession. He is well known, however, especially for his playwright work: he wrote tragedies, some of which, for example. Frandarte (1832) and Zambri (1845), were long represented in the theater. He was also the author of volumes of historical divulgation (Research on the illustrious Calabrian men from Pythagoras to us, historical and archaeological hint of a journey from Scigliano to Cosenza).
