Left Socialists (Venstresocialisterne, VS) is a small socialist party in Denmark.
Founded in 1967 by a left-wing split of the Socialist People's Party, it has obtained rates around 2-3% between 1968 and 1984, often entering the Danish Folketing. In 1989, the Left Socialists gave birth to the Red-Green Alliance with the Communist Party of Denmark and the Socialist Workers' Party. The Alliance has gradually become a unitary party, so that in 1998 the Left Socialists became an association. At the latest elections in 2015, the Alliance obtained 7.8% of the consensus.
