Marcello Firpo (Menton, 1876 - Varages, 1973) was an Italian poet and writer of Italian language and mentonasque dialect.
Adhered to the cultural movement of Barna Grande, which was involved in the literary production of the Italian territories of Menton and Roccabruna. He collaborated with the Intemelia literary magazine with Nino Lamboglia.
Supporting the Italianity of the River Basin territories of Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur, welcomed their occupation in 1940 by Italian troops. He worked for the rediscovery of the ancient Italian cultural roots of those areas.
In 1944 he was sentenced by a special 7-year-old French prison tribunal who fled into Marseille prison.
