Mario Biondi
Mario Biondi, real name Mario Ranno, (Bitetto, January 28, 1971) is an Italian singer.
He is the son of a local well-known folk singer, from whom he also took over the artist name Biondi. In 2006, he had his first success in his country of birth with the album Handful of Soul. He sings in English with an audible Italian accent, which he uses with some self-esteem. His deep hot voice reminds crooners like Barry White and Lou Rawls. His albums contain both ballads and dance songs, and have a jazzy character. In the Netherlands, mostly in the gay scene, DJ Dimitri from Paris recorded a Biondi song in the compilation Return to the Playboy Mansion (2008). Discography
