DAK was a car factory belonging to the brands of Magirus, Dux, Presto and Vomag in the early twentieth century.
In 1923, like hundreds of other German companies, light motorcycles were produced. For this, no engines were used, but built-in engines; 117 and 147cc two stroke motors of ILO. They were mounted in simple triangular frames and got a clutch, a two-speed gearbox and belt drive to the rear wheel.
The many German brands focused almost on the need for cheap means of transport after the First World War. The market then saturated quickly and when more than 150 of these brands disappeared in 1925, DAK was also there.
