Babel Label is a British album label, which mainly releases British jazz musicians. The label, founded in 1994 by Oliver Weindling, has played an important role in the renewed interest in jazz in that country in recent years. Various albums are a cross-over in pop music and classical music. Artists featured on the label include Billy Jenkins, Christine Tobin, Huw Warren, Acoustic Ladyland, Tom Arthurs, Hungry Ants, Polar Bear, Portico Quartet and Phil Robson. The label has also released music from the F-IRE Collective, such as Pete Wareham, Finn Peters and Seb Rochford. Many covers of Babel Label plates are designed by Gee Vaucher.
